When I first met Gavin, my goal was to establish whether to consolidate previous company pensions into the pension with my employer at the time. While consolidation has been a recurring theme due to moving employers, the new goal for me and my husband is to retire at a decent age with a comfortable lifestyle.

He’s also made me aware of paying into previous years’ pension allowances that were incomplete, making my pension pot bigger for retirement. I wasn’t even aware this was possible.
